Delete your EduSync account

What this page is for

EduSync is a school management app developed by Godlinked Technologies. It is also distributed under individual school names as school-branded editions — this page covers all of them.

Accounts in EduSync are created by the school, not by users signing themselves up. Use this page to ask us to delete your account and the personal data attached to it. You do not need to have the app installed to make this request.

How to request deletion

1. Press the button above, or email us directly Write to support@godlinked.in using the subject line Account Deletion Request
2. Tell us who you are Include your full name, your role (student, parent, teacher or staff), and your school's name. Please write from the email address registered in the app, or include your registered phone number.
3. We verify with your school Because school records are involved, we confirm the request with your school administration before acting on it. This protects students from someone else deleting their records.
4. We confirm when it is done We complete verified requests within 30 days and email you a confirmation.

There are no prerequisite steps — EduSync has no paid subscription to cancel first.

What gets deleted

• Your login credentials and app account.
• Your profile details and profile photograph.
• Your chat messages and complaints.
• Your push-notification token, so notifications stop.
• Photos and documents you personally uploaded, where they are not part of an official school record.

What the school keeps, and why

Some records are not ours to delete. Attendance registers, examination results, fee receipts, transfer certificates and the admission register are the school's statutory records, and schools are legally required to preserve them for several years — a student may need a transfer certificate or a marksheet long after leaving.
